The infamous Dodo-appropriately named after the flightless, extinct bird-could be found parked in a hangar at the Francis International Airport after completing a mission called Grand Theft Aero. There is a plane in Grand Theft Auto 3, but it's barely functional, with stubborn controls and clipped wings that make it a nightmare to fly. Helicopters were introduced in Vice City, but it wasn't until San Andreas that we got to fly a plane-or, more accurately, a plane with wings. In the earliest days of Grand Theft Auto's shift to 3D, flight was a luxury.

Ted and I arrived about 90 minutes early, as there were no reserved places, and all was standing room we managed to get places on the midline!, standing under the only available shelter. There were three others from the 1974 World Cup team playing for Bayern: Uli Hoeness, Jupp Kappelmann, and Georg Scharzenbeck, and the future great Karl-Heinz Rummenigge played, also. The game was a big event, as FK Pirmasens competes in the lower professional divisions, and in this Pokal match, the DFB-Pokal being a knockout tournament which includes both the top Bundesliga teams and many lower division teams for an all-German contest, they were pitted against the mighty Bayern-München! And not just any old Bayern team this team had the nucleus of the 1974 World Cup championship team: Franz Beckenbauer, Sepp Maier, Gerd Mueller, who were the center half, goalie, and striker, respectively for that team, and Beckenbauer alone is still regarded as one of the finest center halfs to ever play the game. ![]() Ted Withycombe and I attended a DFB-Pokal match early in 1976 at the old Horeb it was a small stadium with no seating, and had only one area to shelter fans from the weather. In 1998, the city of Pirmasens was given much of the Husterhöhe land to re-develop, and they put together a regional development plan which included the creation of a large park and the construction of a larger soccer stadium to replace the nearby Horeb Stadion, where the local professional football club Fussball Klub (FK) Pirmasens played during the years I was stationed there. Many of the barracks buildings, where we lived and slept, appear to be currently abandoned (see notes at bottom).ĭevelopment plan for Husterhöhe May 2000. ![]() ![]() But that isn’t even the most disturbing thought. Neveldine clearly is looking at an encore. In a room much too crowded with defenceless witnesses, a stern cardinal from the Vatican talks the holy trinity, sprinkles the holy water, wields the holy dagger, and extracts some wholesome eggs. The exorcism itself, where we might expect to get our money’s worth, is an almost amusing mix of the bizarre and the banal. Robertson’s Dr Richards is too perfectly dolled up to not be sinister, but sadly Neveldine doesn’t explore the angle. It’s only Kathleen Robertson, in a brief but arresting appearance as Angela’s psychiatrist, who shows flashes of giving Dudley a run for her money. Scott and Amedori promise an interesting rivalry for Angela’s affections, before that strand quickly goes limp and is dropped. The talented Pena accompanies Angela and her squabbling father (Scott) and boyfriend (Amedori) through their travails, but does little more than hold up the cross at crucial times. The handsome Hounsou looks promisingly at a rather chic computer screen at the beginning, and never even leaves the Vatican premises. Add a few contortions to this, and not much more really happens in The Vatican Tapes - though the film derives its name from the visual evidence that the Church has been apparently collecting since the 1900s of the devil’s presence in the world. ![]() ![]() How much time do you want to spend learning it? How Do You Choose?īefore we get stuck into exploring sample libraries, some advice on how to choose the right orchestra sample libraries for you… We would like to thank Mark Fabian, David’s assistant for helping us put together the audio demos throughout this series. Here are two examples, first, here is a clip using the EXS24… To give you a sense of the difference between the “stock” orchestral sounds found in DAW ROMplers like Logic’s EXS24 and bespoke instruments, the best way is to hear it. To help, we asked composer David Tobin, who has many years of composing, arranging and orchestration credits in film, TV, and theatre and is a master at creating orchestral/crossover scores for advertising and commercials as well as film trailers, to use his experience and share his personal favourites, including the pros and cons of each library.īecause the market is so large, David split up the orchestra and looked at libraries that focus on a specific orchestral section, strings, brass, etc, as well as looking at some all-in-one solutions and other tools that he uses to get the sound and performance his clients depend on him for. The sheer number of companies producing top-quality software for orchestral sampling has increased substantially of late, and there are more options now for the digital composer than ever before in this ever-expanding ecosystem. EVERY and and i mean every other software can play 4 of these at a time no problem, but Adobe can't even preview it without taking all that extra time. I shoot with a GH5 heavily, 4k 60 8 bit mostly, and it requires "RENDER IN/OUT' constantly just to preview raw footage. There are times when I see it utilize all cores, but it's rare and of course there is no information that's easily found on it or explained. I've been with Adobe for 2 decades and had it on a half dozen top of the line machines (current 5950x, Gen 4 SSDs, 64GB DDR 3600) and it's barely faster than my five year old intel six core, why? becuase it's only using ONE core, which makes it roughly 1gz faster and it checks out. No hardware you upgrade to will change this much at the average users level. I don't even care about compatibility any more, it's rarely dependable anyway from projects from the past that aren't even that old. Nothing will change until they spend the time and money to modernize. It's the terrible engine Adobe uses according to one of their own engineers. GPU?, pft, it never and i mean never goes over 50% on my current 1070. If you're using plug-ins, you're almost guaranteed single core performance. ![]() It's 100% Adobe's failure to utilize ALL cores. I hope this will help you & all the best for your work. If you can’t record in different format & codec, I’d prefer to use Adobe Media Encoder to convert footage to MP4 H.264 first, it will also take very long time but at least during editing and rendering from Adobe Premiere Pro you won’t encounter same issues again. you want and then start editing with the new pre-rendered (to MP4 H.264) footage but I’m not 100% sure about this. In your case it could also be due to footage being raw (in that case render it beforehand with whatever colour grading, exposure, contrast etc. So, I think that either use footage that is in MP4 format & H.264 codec (I’m not sure which all formats and codecs allow for same performance by skipping additional encoding) or otherwise you won’t get same performance. ![]() Either way, when I worked on a new premiere pro project with footage that wasn’t from this screen recorder, it worked perfectly fine with high CPU & GPU usage. Screen recorder outputs WMV file instead of MP4, not sure about the codec. I’m certain now that this was caused due to different format/encoding of the video that my screen recorder outputs in. How to fix this and maximise CPU usage? Resources are definitely available it’s just that the newer Premiere Pro projects created using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2020 do not use those resources fully.įor me issue was very specific to that Premiere Pro project and I knew this for sure after extensive testing with different projects and pc. I also tried rendering same new project in my PC using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2020, but even that achieved same poor rendering results with very low CPU usage. Interesting thing is that when I render old project in laptop which was created in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2020, I don’t have any such issues, so it seems the issue is specific to the new projects created using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2020. I have tried several tutorials on this and tried several optimisation settings, even tried rendering in Adobe Media Encoder CC 2020 with different settings but none helped fix the problem. I’m using CUDA for rendering engine (I tried openCL & Software only as well). I noticed CPU usage is very low (max 24%) and GPU is barely ever used. However, my recent project (in laptop) & I think my first project in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2020 is rendering very slow, same is the issue with rendering previews. Up to Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 I didn’t encounter any rendering issues & CPU usage (and in between GPU usage as well) used to be very high (40% - 100%) during rendering (even in laptop, no issues). ![]() I have been using Premiere Pro since Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 in my PC (not laptop). I recently started working on a new video, editing it in Adobe Premiere Pro. ![]() ![]() Could Ishak be next on the list, or is he the man responsible?
